Of recent built Casa ARCOIRIS offers our guests a quiet and cozy place.

The house is located just less than 5 minutes walk from La Playita, one of the most exiting and beautiful beaches in the area, and at a 10-15 minutes walk from the center of Las Galeras where you can find various restaurants, bars and a bit of action.

The owner Seba and his wife Thania are at your disposal for any information you may need. Apart from English we also speak Spanish, Italian, French and German.

Las Galeras

Las Galeras is located on the east coast of the Samaná peninsula, in the bay of El Rincón, which is located between Cabo Cabrón and Samaná, it is a very quiet fishing village, away from the world, where the main street, the only one that leads to the village, ends in front of Playa Grande.

The region is famous for its beautiful palm-lined beaches. There is a beach on the seafront in Las Galeras called Playa Grande, as well as a white sand beach called La Playita, which is a favorite destination for local tourists and is located at short distance from Casa ARCOIRIS.

Boat trips to Playa Rincón, Playa Frontón and Playa Madama are available from the main beach of Las Galeras Playa Grande, while Madama and Frontón are also great excursion destinations.

There are also several tour operators who organize excursions on horseback, by quad or buggy, by boat, on foot and much more.

During the whale season, from January 15th to March 30th, it is also possible to visit the Humpback Whale Sanctuary in Samaná Bay, a spectacle of nature, in its natural environment of mating and reproduction of over 1,500 specimens.

In the center of Las Galeras, on the main street, you will find most of the restaurants and bars, where you can enjoy excellent local and international cuisine and also some entertainment.

Las Galeras is about 30 minutes from Samaná and about 4 hours from the capital Santo Domingo.
